Recently, several firms experienced difficulty with obtaining TREX confirmation messages for electronic (e-cbot, GLOBEX^®and order routing systems) trades. This resulted in delays with reconciling firm bookkeeping systems against CME’s clearing system. While CME has taken several steps to prevent this problem from recurring, we would like to educate firms on an FEC feature that may be used to assist firms with intra-day reconciliation processing.
